Theo and Tilly were found on the streets of the UAE, skin and bones, with no mother in sight and struggling to breathe. At first, it seemed it might already be too late – they were so weak that we didn’t know if they’d survive the night. But with immediate vet care, medication, proper food, and lots of love, these tiny fighters pulled through.

Since their rescue, life has been a series of moves between different foster homes, as it is very hard to find long-term fosterers for cats in the UAE. Eventually, Theo and Tilly were flown to the UK in the hope of giving them the safe and happy future they deserve.

Sadly, things have not gone smoothly. They are now struggling with persistent diarrhoea that has not improved with initial treatment. Their bottoms are sore, they are having accidents outside the litter tray, and little Tilly in particular shows signs of pain. Both kittens are underweight, and until this is resolved, they are too small to be neutered.

Despite all this, Theo and Tilly remain bright, loving, and playful. They desperately need further vet tests and treatment to finally get to the bottom of their condition, as well as neutering once they are well enough.

We are fundraising to cover the cost of their urgent medical treatment and neutering so that these two special kittens can finally put their rocky start behind them and look forward to a happy, stable life.
