Our Mission:We Build Superheroes. Why? - Because the world needs them.
Hello! As a performer, I’m known as TimTv, and you may have seen me Hula Hooping in Falls Park, Stilt Walking downtown, making giant Bubbles, or breathing FIRE with my troupe The Secret Cirkus. OR you might know me as the infamous Mr. March, “martial arts instructor extraordinaire", of the Ukiyo Dojo.
For several years, I have been on a hero's journey as a monk on a mountain and I'm now finally ready to return to the world and share all I’ve learned.
With the help of my friends, I am creating a new training center called The NINJAPLEX and I need your help. We have just a few weeks to raise the funds necessary for rent and renovations. Our previous facility is about to close and we need to GO!
The Ninjaplex will be the first of its kind and a valuable addition to the creative culture of Greenville.
• Martial Arts – Mr. March has trained many thousands of students in various styles of martial arts for over 30 years. As a 5th-dan Black Belt and Master Instructor, he currently teaches the Ukiyo Dojo, an academy for private Budo training.
• Cirkus Arts – TimTv & The Secret Cirkus is a troupe of unconventional performers whose main focus is "Cirkus": the unique combination of circus arts, sideshow acts, fire skills, vaudeville & burlesque. Not only will the Ninjaplex be their new headquarters, but it will also be Greenville's first Cirkus Training Center!
• Multipurpose Event Space – The 3rd function of the facility will be to serve the art community as a flexible multipurpose event space for classes, workshops, performances, meetups, photoshoots, and more. We are a connective collective, and through our efforts we will inspire a creative passion the likes of which Greenville, South Carolina has never before seen.
Our ongoing classes and events will cover our overhead once we’re open; your donation will make it possible to begin! Our $6000 goal is to cover:
Lease Cost (first & last month’s rent + security deposit) $3000
renovations $1000
- refinish floor
- clean & paint
- install mirrors
- build stage & locker rooms
- install heater
30% buffer to cover unexpected expenses $2000
My mission is to help make Greenville a more fun, interesting, exciting community, for my own well-being, for my daughter, and for all of us. To facilitate that I intend to create an environment which encourages personal growth and inspires self exploration through the mastery of eclectic skills.
