Hi everyone!

My name is Catherine and I am an artist from New Zealand living in LA. I am producing a collaborative film project inspired by my award winning solo show "The Creeps", and I need your help.

"The Creeps" is a Bouffon (Grotesque Clown) show that is an investigation into isolation, addiction, and the many faces of trauma, with a twist: "The Creeps" is special because all the characters that live in this world are all played by me.
The film is an exploration of how to translate a solo physical stage piece into film. The film is set in a timeless and placeless dark room which is inhabited by one woman and her memories. Isolation, sexuality, love, and loss are the core themes.

"The Creeps" film collaboration is the beginning of my life's body of work. I am a passionate storyteller with a vision of making purposeful, deep, and visceral experiences for audiences (think Darren Aronofsky's work), the goal being to encourage compassion, empathy and an insight into the lives and worlds of people.

We want this shoot to be intimate, so we are asking for a micro-budget.The money we raise will be used to hire our location, set, lights, camera equipment, food, editing, and music composition.

With your help I will be able to create a powerful example of my work, and the type of work I am commited to making for the rest of my career.
