The story of Chaudel Anessa Moore
Don protégé
Let me tell you a story, a story about a resilient beautiful woman…she is the mother of 4 beautiful children by birth plus 2 by blessing, she is a woman of deep compassion, a woman that will go out of her way to make life easier for those she loves. She has the heart of a nation and the strength of a goddess. She will help build a house as well as make it a home. On the night of September 11, 2020 life changed drastically for this wonderful woman I speak of. As she and her husband headed home after a fun night celebrating their eldest son’s birthday, they were in an unfortunate accident that would change their normal. In a split second something great was lost but something even greater was gained. The woman I speak of is my beautiful sister Chaudel Anessa Moore. Chaudel and her husband Nakia flipped in that car accident 5-7 times and ended up in on coming traffic upside down. That day my sister lost her hand but gained a new life and we couldn’t be happier. You see this is not a story of tragedy but one of rebirth and new beginnings. Yes, Chaudel lost her hand but through her loss she birthed inspiration and appreciation of life in everyone she had ever encountered. Her husband Nakia was fine and without injury thank God! However, his heart bled for his wife to be okay and even then Chaudel licked the wounds of us all and softly said “everything is going to be ok, I am fine and just glad to be here”. How miraculous she is which is why we want to honor her sacrifice; my sister has accumulated several medical bills with her surgery as well as legal fees because of course the system tends to find a way to blame us. This was in fact a hit and run and my brother in law is having to fight relentlessly for the truth to prevail. My sister is also in need of a prosthetic hand and we want to make sure she gets it. Please if you know what it is to receive a second chance at life in any capacity please donate to this cause. Anything helps and anything sown will be in good soil. My sister and brother have been here for many of us, through the gatherings at their home, or the showing support at our events, or even just sitting up and crying with us in our darkest hour. Let’s come through for them and make this happen for Chaudel. If anybody knows her, you know she is busy and to have lost her right hand is a big change, but even so she has not stopped yet. Let’s do this for her and for life…we all deserve a second chance at life. We love y’all and thank you so much!!!
