The Skipping Challenge: Jumpstart Potential
Donation protected
This isn’t just a story about a computer.
It’s a story about a family trying to teach their kids a few important principles:
✨ If you want something, you work for it.
✨ If you believe in something, you give it a go.
✨ If it matters to you, you don’t wait — you take action.
Meet Indiana — our creative, determined 10-year-old with a big idea (and an even bigger skipping rope).
Indiana would love a computer. Not to play games, but to bring some of her ideas to life — including a mini business and a fundraising idea she’s been dreaming up. She’s already earned a solid amount towards it doing chores and saving up.
But rather than just "waiting it out," she’s decided to do something hard and consistent to reach her goal:
100 skips a day for 45 days.
(Note: Her record was 14 skips in a row day 1 and she was ruined, this is a new skill for her).
She's already 7 days and 2 old skipping ropes in (we held off sharing until we saw her stick with it), and she’s showing real commitment. 3rd time's is a charm, Rebel Sport here we come…
The best part? She’s skipping before breakfast. The positive lead has rubbed off on her sister and they’ve stopped asking for screens in the mornings (not that they got it). They’re even doing chores without being asked. In our eyes — we’ve already won.
But now, we’re inviting you to be part of it.
If you’d like to support Indie’s goal, a few dollars would go a long way.
And if skipping’s not your thing — she’s offering a weekend car clean!
(Disclaimer: she’s not great at high roofs, but you won’t find a better finish on your rims.)
If this resonates with you — even a little — thank you. We are working on a very basic "Indiana Approved" goal setting pack we can send you if you have a motivated child looking to #jumpstartpotential also. If not, no worries. Either way, thanks for cheering her on from the sidelines.
This little challenge has already sparked joy, discipline and belief in something bigger. Maybe #oneskipcloser is the start of something more.
Consistency. Growth. Reward.
Enough from us — here’s a message from the skipper herself
Hi
Thank you for supporting me I appreciate it enormously.
I have a school project that I want to do and I need a computer to do that though. It would mean a lot if you could donate or reach out to see what jobs I can help you with to help me reach my goal.
As you can imagine this is hard but that’s why I love it though. Remember I am a year 4 I love my school a lot and enjoy new challenges.
Skipping is exhausting and something I'm just learning.
I have a new found respect for all skippers and people chasing their goals.
Now I can embrace the feelings they feel and the struggles they have along the way. I am enjoying the new challenge now and you are a part of that in my eyes. I'm now loving skipping!!!
So the point is if you have a goal stick with it. Choose something to work on and join me along the way.
I need your help to reach mine so please donate.
Thank you,
Indiana:)

- Any extra funds will go toward helping Indiana share her message with others and explore other positive, creative business ideas she’s already dreaming up
