The Schaver family

Hi, my name is Brenda and I am starting this Go fund me on behalf of my daughter Bekah and her family. They started off the year with what was suppose to be simple surgery to remove a lingual thyroid (she was born with her thyroid on the back of her tongue instead of her neck and it was starting to close her airway). It turned out to be papillary carcinoma with follicular pattern. A repeat scan showed another mass, and another surgery was required. Bekah has now had to take time off of work for 2 surgeries and will require more time off in about 2 months for radiation. Because of the type of radiation, she has to stay at a hotel for 5-7 days away from her family. Her youngest daughter Lucy is also about to have surgery on her tear ducts. 3 surgeries is a lot for one family to pay for in a matter of a couple months, let alone a cancer diagnosis. We are just trying to ease one burden for them and not make Bekah feel like she has to rush back to work this week so she doesn’t get behind on bills. Any bit helps!
