Our industry needs to shutdown to keep everyone safe. It’s the right thing for everyone. But that means we really need your support to care for our workers who are without work and depend on tips. Our entire bar staff is currently furloughed because it is impossible to generate the income they rely on while unable to sell delicious, ice-cold Margaritas.
We’ve always been able to care for our employees, so it’s difficult to ask our guests for help. But, the best way for us to provide our team supplement income during this difficult time is to ask for your help. We provide health insurance options for every member of our staff and are working diligently to preserve their health care during this health crisis. However, we need you to remember all of those great times with a margarita in your hand while dancing to the best Latin playlist in town! That time you got to talk to them about what mezcal is, when you got fired, or how all this bullshit with the Astros is ridiculous. Remember how you met your wife at our bar? Remember celebrating your bachelorette party with us that one night downtown? Or just remember how tasty those mezcal recommendations were.
Bars around the country are asking guests to help support their staffs during this time. Knowing how much our staff is loved by our community, we just wanted to create this as a space to show them some additional appreciation for everything they’ve done over the years.
