The Palmer twins premature arrival

Hi my name is Darby and this wasn’t easy and this is something I never expected I would have to do; but there is no shame in asking for help in a time of need.

For those of you that don’t know, Christmas morning Cheryl’s pregnancy took an unexpected turn for the worst and we were rushed to Mount Sinai in Toronto. She gave birth to the twins 4 months early at just 25 weeks old and they only weighed 1.5lbs each. They were immediately rushed to the NICU where they will be staying for almost 8 weeks before they can come to the Owen sound hospital.

We were fortunate enough to get a place at the Ronald McDonald House but it is not entirely free and the cost of taking a leave from work is a hit financially. The last thing I want to do is be worried about money while I’m here worrying about the wellbeing of my children. So any donations would be incredibly appreciated and would mean the world to us.
