Ferme Campaoure (The Nicolini family) Overhead

Hi, we are the Nicolini family, owners and operators of Ferme Campaoure. We are a small, family run, regenerative olive farm in the start up stage, located in Provence.

We have chosen to immigrate to France and start our own farm because we want to spend our lives working toward a balance of which our ancestors were keenly aware. We are in awe of nature, study it, and know that it is the relationships between all living things that make an ecosystem thrive. Our dream is to participate in the creation and stewardship of that ecosystem while providing healthy food for people. And we know that dreams, without goals, remain dreams.

In order to achieve our goals and realise our dreams, we are raising funds for our second year farm budget. After an oversight, our attempt to continue to use our personal savings to finance the farm has been thwarted. We are asking for your help. The funds raised here will be used to pay for fuel for the tractor, farm insurance, vet bills, phone bills, accounting fees, and boots (mine are so worn that the brambles I clear to access the olive trees shoot right into my feet).

As we continue to access our olive trees, add animals and a market garden to the property, we will have more olive oil, more vegetables, and more fruit to offer. The funds will go directly into our farm business account, where they will be carefully allocated monthly to the overhead budget items listed above.
