On August 16, 2018, Matthew Morgado was driving his car, when it suddenly caught on fire. Thankfully he escaped with minor injuries, but his car is 100% destroyed. This comes two months after he was involved in a car accident, which was NOT his fault, resulting in a totaled car.
With the help of his family, he was able to purchase a used car, costing $11,000. Now 33 days after that, this unexplained fire happens and Subaru will NOT offer any help or assistance replacing the car, or even give an explanation, since it’s past the “30 Day Window.” Also, since the car was used, insurance will not cover any of them damage, because of the type of coverage necessary for a used car.
He is getting married in 6 weeks. This family has and had too much on their plate, more than families should ever endure. I’m asking if anyone can help them, no matter how small, to get this loan paid off and allow them all to use their wedding as a fresh start.
He is a hard working high school teacher, working in NY and living in Connecticut. Him & Lisa have lost so many personal, sentimental and work items that can never be replaced.
This family is one of the most beautiful families I know. Each of them would give you the shirt off of their backs & would help ANYONE in need, day or night. It’s time for someone to do for them, what they would do for any of us.
