The Montanez Family's Fight Against Cancer

As many of you know, our dear friend Tina has been courageously battling stage four colon and liver cancer for the past three years and has been continuously on different chemotherapies and most recently undergoing radiation treatment.

Throughout this ordeal, in addition to being an extraordinarily devoted mom to Katie and Christian and loving wife to Leo, Tina has been working full-time and waking up at 4 am 5 days a week. There have been so many times each of us has wished for the opportunity to fight this battle on behalf of our beautiful friend, but the truth is Tina never needed us to do that because she is the strongest, most fierce woman/warrior we know. But now it’s time to let Tina, and Leo, have the freedom not to work and focus on what’s most important.

If you were generous enough to donate three years ago when Tina was first diagnosed, please know that all those funds were used to enable Tina to fight this horrific disease. We are humbly asking for your support again, this time to give Tina, Leo, Katie, and Christian the most priceless gift of all – time with one another. Time to love. Time to cherish. Time to laugh. Time to enjoy what so many of us take for granted.
