Josh and Kalaya Baert have been married 6 years and were so excited to welcome their firstborn this Christmas 2016.  Kalaya went into labor on Saturday December 17th and a routine labor quickly escalated and went terribly wrong.  The baby passed during the labor process and medical personnel were unable to save Kalaya.  Most of Josh's family resides in Minnesota and they are wanting to get to Alaska to be with him during this terrible tragedy.  Josh has a very large family and is one of 8 children.  The proceeds from this page will help to cover the family's airfare and will assist in  lightening the financial burden for the family during this CHRISTmas season.  They are ever so grateful for your love and support!
