The Loeffelholz Family

Hi, my name is Amanda Loeffelholz and I am fundraising for my brother in-law Matt who will appreciate help with travel expenses and everyday bills due to a sudden onset involving my sister in-law, his wife Charlotte who was taken to the emergency room Nov 17 2021 for continuous vomiting. Charlotte's heart stopped beating and was resesitated after 20 mins and admitted to the hospital. Charlotte has been on a ventilator and heavily sedated ever since. Nov 19th the doctors tried to take her off the ventilator and wake Charlotte up but she seized with her heart stopping once again this time for 3 min. Charlotte's heart is working at a 25 percent rate. Charlotte will be transfered to the university of Iowa hospitals for further testing and care, as of now the doctors believe Charlotte may have a underlying heart condition, the doctors are working on getting her oxygen, potassium, electrolytes and blood pressure up so they can try and remove the ventilator and can further test her heart. The doctors and Matt are exploring options while considering placing a pace maker in. Charlotte's is 31 years young with 3 children ages 13, 11 and 5 years old and a husband Matt who works in the flooring remodeling business and works hard to provide for his family. Matt and Charlotte have been together for 16 years, the family is very overwhelmed with this situation. Please help this family so they will be able to travel back and forth to Iowa City with ease and not have to worry about the burden of expenses and being off of work to be with his family. Any donation whether it's money or just a prayer for their family will help. I will post updates as much as possible.
