The greatest Western film you'll ever see
Don protégé
We are a group of four high school seniors at Riverfield Country Day School trying to get funds for a film we are making. We need money for things like props, costumes, and location. We are making a Western short film as part of a film class we all take and we want to make it something incredible as it will be our last film in high school. The film follows a group of three brothers as they find themselves in a precarious situation, standing against the law and getting their start as outlaws. If you would like to see our previous work, the attached video is our short from last semester, Love on the Rocks.
Below is a breakdown of where the budget will go:
- Our biggest and most needed milestone is around $2,500 for location. If we get nothing else, we would want to meet this goal.
- After that, the next biggest thing would be around $1,000 on props, $500 on costumes, another $500 on catering and transportation, and the final $500 would be to give us some extra room in case we end up having more need than we originally thought
- If we end up having anything left over we will use it to get better props and better costumes
