G String XXXL

2023 is a big year. To celebrate, we're abandoning the original G String and replacing everything. What is G String? It is a one-of-a-kind wearable kinetic art installation from Boise Idaho that features a 55-foot-long interactive wave of stroboscopically manipulated energy. Tactile to the touch, participants can physically interact with the waves of energy… or wear it as a head adornment and travel through its portals!

2023 has been an investment. $2600 for 18 LED stage fixtures. $2200 customized circuit boards and firmware for 18 fixtures. To control the fixtures, Avolites T2 @ $1700 and $699 on a dedicated laptop powerful enough to run it. $2400 in sound, we are producing a synchronized audio experience to deepen your visual experience. $600 on a touch controller console for your use. $2900 in stage trusses & engineered motor stand. $300 in cords. $375 misc fasteners. For the burn, $200 gas caddy and $120 in fuel, $750 to share a U-Hog box truck, $250 for an 80’ diameter perimeter/safety lighting. $30 in strings and fun things. $250 for a variety of head adornments and one artistically incorporated generator box.

We were blessed by a generous donor whose funds were matched by a local business. But the Art Expense Credit Card payment is due September 5th, 2024. Rent and food would also be nice (I am skipping work until the burn to finish the art).

Have art, will travel. Any excess funds will go into 2023/2024's traveling art fund. What good is art without a participant? We’ve spun strings at 7 Regional Events thus far, more would be nice. Thank you for your support.
