Hi everyone. The last month and a half have been hard and I thank those of you who have been with me and my sister every step of the way. In early January my father had a serious stroke that destroyed the left half of his brain. It left him immobile and nonverbal. A week ago he passed away in hospice care. He went peacefully, with loved ones by his side.
My father, a US Vetern. Many of you knew him personally or through stories of him. He was one of the most interesting people I ever knew, my sister and I's greatest supporter.
This is a fundraiser to help my sister and I honor the person who stood strong and raised us after our mother passed of cancer. It is also to help pay the medical expenses during his hospital stay and other burial/memorial costs.
