Bula! My name is Justina Jarema and I am running races to raise money for me and my mom's foundation, The Fijian Girls Foundation. Our mission is to bring menstrual equity to Fiji by raising awareness, ending the stigma behind women's menstruation, and donating period panties and washable pads to the girls and women in rural areas of Fiji.
GOAL:
Raise $10,000 to provide adequate female sanitation facilities for girls in rural schools.

1. Fijian girls can miss up to 20% of school days due to menstruation.
2. School drop out rates for Fijian girls increase around the onset of puberty.
3. About 25% of primary schools in Fiji do not have access to adequate sanitation and water facilities.
