The story of the Dog in a suitcase .
My name is Hannah and I am a veterinary nurse from Wirral, UK .
You may of seen Paddy McGuinnes very kindly shared this story of an incredible person Mr Melvyn Downes ( SAS) who recently went to help after the horrendous earthquake hit the Turkey-Syria border.
Thousands of humans & animals lost and millions displaced. I can’t even begin to comprehend what this is like But now … you and I must .
The little black Labrador also known as the dog in the suitcase , Lost his family but won't leave the site of their home. Instead he sleeps every night, among the rubble, in his owners suitcase, bereaved & heart broken . He can still smell them and their personal possessions.
I reached out to Melvin and together we agreed to set up a GoFund me account to try and help the good folk caught up in the disaster get the help they need and in turn help the animals also in need in turkey , including this beautiful heart broken boy .
We plan to fly out to provide veterinary aid and subsequently need all the financial assistance & donations of medical supplies we can get !
The plan is to track this little fella down and fly him to the UK where he can live fear free , warm & comfortable ,loved & cared for the rest of his life.
