Dear Friends and Family,

It is with truly heavy hearts we are writing to you today to let you know about the loss of Eugene Haynes. Eugene’s unexpected and untimely death has devastated us all. We’ve started this fundraiser to collect donations for any expenses and hardships that Eugene’s death has caused the Haynes Family.

Eugene, father to Brian, Nichelle and Kevin, and husband to Deborah Haynes, passed away due to Covid complications on August 17th. He was a man of faith that loved his family and everyone else. He touched everyone he came across and is known for having an open home to friends, family and even strangers. Eugene embodied what it means to be a Christian. He also showed us how fun the Christian walk can be. We admired how he never hesitated to go out his way to assist someone. If he couldn't help someone himself, he found someone who could. The impact Eugene has had on others is enormous. He will surely be missed.

The memorial service will be held at Auburn-Opelika Metro SDA Church (Location: 1201 S Uniroyal Rd, Opelika, AL 36804), on Sunday, September 5th at 12 pm.
