It all started in 2022 – I had tests done, the results of which indicated an infection. I was given antibiotics, but despite following the doctor's recommendations, there was no visible improvement. Unexpected difficulties beyond my control meant that the next visit took place only in May 2023. I was ordered to have an MRI. But after receiving the results, the doctors were unable to determine what was wrong with me…

I felt worse and worse, I couldn't sit still because of the pain and I could also feel a lump. I had to seek help privately! I went to a specialist who did an ultrasound and said it was inflammation. I asked if it wasn't cancer, but the doctor assured me there was nothing to worry about and prescribed an antibiotic, which I took for a month. Unfortunately, there was still no improvement.

I continued to seek help, visiting specialists after specialist. I felt that something was wrong with me! Finally, I was ordered to have a biopsy of a worrying lump. The results brought the worst possible diagnosis… It turned out to be a malignant soft tissue tumor – pelvic sarcoma in the oligometastatic stage! My world collapsed!

From September 2023 I went to chemotherapy, which I finished in April 2024, then from June I was recommended chemo in tablets and in the meantime I was on radiotherapy. Unfortunately, the treatment only worked at the beginning, with subsequent chemo treatments there were no expected results... The disease progressed and continues to progress. I have metastases to the lungs, the tumor is inoperable, doctors are throwing up their hands in helplessness...

I found a treatment option abroad, but the treatment costs are beyond my financial capabilities. The genetic tests I need to do cost 20,000 PLN, then immunotherapy costs 15,000 PLN for just one month of treatment, and I currently need it for at least 3 months... The costs of treatment and travel to the clinic are very high and I can no longer cope. That is why I am asking for support with all my heart. I beg you - do not leave me in this most difficult fight!
