Dear Alumni of the Jesuit Class of '92 -
As some of you may know, there are multiple charities that various classes from Jesuit support as their "classes' charity." A small group of your class has been meeting over the last few years as the "class leadership group" to assist in planning our reunions and that sort of thing. We have come up with an idea for a Class of '92 charity of our own - The Blue Santas. We are partnering with St. Anthony's Catholic Parish, which is the Parish where Jesuit is located. Our goal is to adopt 25 families in need that live in the Parish. St. Anthony's already has this program where families in need create wish lists and other parishioners adopt the families and purchase the items on the lists. We are just joining the effort and trying to adopt 25 families as the Class of '92 Alumni. Our plan is to raise $5000.00 by December 13, 2017, which will allow us to buy 200 gifts at $25.00 each. We will then invite our Class to meet at Marshall's on Thursday, December 14th to spend the money purchasing items requested by the needy families. The actual purchasing of the gifts is totally optional, but we will be including our kids so they can get in the charitable spirit as well. We will then deliver all of the gifts to St. Anthony's Church and they will distribute the gifts.
We have created this GoFundMe account to serve this purpose. Marc Bonifacic will be in charge of the accounting and we will report on all of our collections and spending in the end. Please consider donating at a minimum and if you would like to participate, that would be great. Thanks for your time and let's try to make a difference at this small level in Jesuit's neighborhood.
Thanks and please consider donating!!!
