Matt Hendrix the battle is won

For those of you that haven’t heard, Matt was diagnosed with colorectal cancer on August 15th, found by exploratory surgery to repair a perforated intestine. They also found that the cancer has metastasized to his liver as well. He will be seeking treatment from MD Anderson once he is fully healed from his extensive surgery. We wanted to create this page to keep our family and friends in the loop as to Matt’s recovery process from surgery and our journey to MD Anderson when it’s time for treatment.

We have already been so blessed by the outpouring of love from our friends and family during this time. We know that some of you will be offering to help. We’ve already received donations to help us with the costs associated with obtaining treatment! We have opened a medical account at Bancorp South and Marion State Bank to accept donations. We are by no means asking for money, so please keep that in mind! We just know that some will give us money no matter what we say or do, so we want to do things right.
