To everyone who has donated, prayed, shared June’s story, or simply kept her in your thoughts — your kindness has carried us through the hardest days of our lives. Your support meant everything to us. It gave us hope when we felt hopeless, and strength when we were tired.

Sadly, we now share with you the update we prayed we’d never have to write.

Our brave June Uelese, just 9 years old, has fought with all her heart. Earlier this year, she underwent a leg amputation in an effort to stop her aggressive cancer from spreading. We held on to hope, even making preparations for treatment in India.

But now, doctors have confirmed the cancer has spread too far. India is no longer an option. There is nothing more they can do.

June is now at home, where she is being kept as comfortable as possible, surrounded by family and love. We are heartbroken — and preparing for what may be her final days.

This fundraiser will now help ease the burden on her family — for June’s care, comfort, and the difficult days ahead.
