Television Thesis Pilot

Who am I?
Hello, my name is Chris Couloufis. I am a student at California State University Northridge majoring in Television Production. I am currently working on a thesis project which is a pilot episode for a potential television series. This coming spring (2021) I will be creating comedy. The project will be filmed on Bob-lo Island, Amherstburg, Ont. I am currently seeking sponsorships and or donations in order to fund my project.

What is the story about?
‘That’s Life’ is an action, adventure, sci-fi comedy in the not so distant future. It follows the life of Wren and Toni, a couple who are going through great lengths to make ends meet for the people we love during an alien pandemic. Wren, a short tempered middle aged man delivers rare goods to people during a pandemic lock down where all businesses are closed. The flu like virus was spread by aliens looking for a new planet to inhabit. Wrens wife Toni, a functioning alcoholic is a middle school teacher. Her students are a group of dysfunctional brats who are destined to become the post apocalyptic generation. In the not so distant future the apocalypse has begun. Aliens are settling into their new life on earth, but are spreading a virus that is making everyone sick. As of now there is no vaccine that can keep up with hundreds of mutations. People are forced to live indoors of groups of no more than five-six. Indoor temperatures must remain at 110 degrees, no lower in order to keep the aliens away.

Your donations will fund necessary resources such as set design, wardrobe, props, original music scoring, paying actors, insurance fees, editing software subscription and food for cast.

All donations will go towards funding the Pilot episode.
