Renee's Fight Against Colon Cancer

Renee Branem is a beautiful 33 year old wife, mother, daughter, sister and amazing friend to many. On October 4th, Renee went to the ER thinking she might have food poisoning. After tests were ran, it was confirmed the tumor that was found in her colon was cancerous. Renee has spent the last few days in the hospital with her loving husband Matt by her side and her faith and courage have truly been a miracle to witness. She underwent surgery on October 9th to remove the tumor and part of her colon.

As we move forward and face the unknown in these next few days/weeks.. I ask that we, her family, friends, and friends of friends come together and try to help lift the financial burden that this kind of diagnosis can bring.
I spoke with Renee first before setting up this account and she was very thankful. She also told me that she is going to make it her goal to raise awareness about Colon Cancer to younger women. She had no signs and it is not recommended for anyone to have a colonoscopy until the age of 50. Colon cancer is most common in Males 50 + years of age. This diagnoses is a shock to everyone including her doctors. So please, let’s pull together as Renee's army and join in this fight for her, Matt and their two year old daughter Lexia.
