Team Emily~ Fighting Leukemia Together

When we saw our niece Emily last month she was sick with what we thought was the flu and had been exhausted from a busy 8th grade year. Between choir, Girl Scouts, Ariel gymnastics and volunteering she loves to stay busy.  But as her symptoms didn't improve she found herself back at the doctor for blood work. Things escalated quickly as she checked into the hospital and awaited additional tests. 

On April 30th, we found out Emily had been diagnosed with B Cell- Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and started her chemotherapy treatment that same day. 

Emily is staying positive as she focuses on her health, closing out her 8th grade year and preparing for High School.  So many friends and family are reaching out attempting to find the words or ways to support Emily and her family; with a treatment plan that stretches over 2 years one thing we thought we could do is attempt to help cover some of the cost. 

Our goal is to allow Emily's family to focus on Emily (and her siblings) during this trying time and hopefully ease the financial hardship that comes with battling cancer.  Your donation to help Team Emily is greatly appreciated as we rally around her and remind her that she isn't alone as she fights Leukemia.
