Teacher Monique’s sister and nieces live in St. Thomas which was recently devastated by Hurricane Irma.  Her family lost their entire home and almost everything they own.  We are attempting to raise money to help them get back on their feet and start a new life here in the states.

Because of the nature of this fundraiser, GoFundMe is asking me to provide you with the following information:

My name is Rory Solomon and I am the Director at the school where Monique has been employed for the past 20 years.  I have been fortunate enough to know Monique personally for almost 10 years as not only a co-worker, but a friend.  The funds will be used to help with expenses that will be incurred by Monique’s sister and her nieces (clothing, shelter, food, etc.) as a result of losing their home in St. Thomas.  Once the fundraiser is complete, the funds will be transferred directly to Monique’s account.
