In Cambodia, a lot of children have to pay to be enrolled in a school that meets educational standards and most of them never get the opportunity to attend due to the reality of them having to help support their families. Ta Touck Village School allows these children to supplement a well-rounded education while also allowing them to help with family needs and expenses.
The school is located just outside of Siem Reap, Cambodia and our family will be making its third and final humanitarian trip this December. The school started with an initial enrollment of thirty students in 2005 and has now amassed to over three hundred students.
We try to purchase or bring as many donated items as we can. Most of the items include computers, bicycles, calculators, clothing, and basic school and medical supplies. Other accomplishments that have been made through donations are installing a sanatized drinking well, providing scholarships to senior students who have passed thier national exams to attend a university, and adding solar pannels throughout the enitre village.
Any donation is very much appreciated and well used to help continue this educational opportunity for this village in need.
