It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Tatiana Rudometova, mother of HPD Victim Advocate, Veronika Evans. Tatiana recently suffered a short illness in Latvia and subsequently passed away unexpectedly on 02/22/24.

Veronika has touched the lives of so many inside and outside our department through her advocacy and peer support. Her family is now in need and it’s our turn to give back to them. We are raising money to help cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services in Latvia for Tatiana as her passing was unexpected.
