Support The Tandy Family

Joseph Edward Tandy, beloved husband, son, brother, cousin and friend has tragically lost his life after his heart stopped several nights ago. He spent his last precious days surrounded by loved ones, before selflessly donating his organs, continuing to save and touch the lives of others.

The outpouring of love and support shown by family, friends and this community is a testament to the kind of people Joe and his wife Tara are.  They have devoted their lives to helping others, and it's obvious how loved they are. The funds collected will help the family focus on healing, without the added stress of finances during this already stressful time.

The wake will be held on Friday, February 26, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home, 13805 Main Road in Mattituck, New York 11952.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 27 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church, 14300 Main Road in Mattituck, directly opposite the funeral home. The burial will follow the church proceedings at the Cutchogue Cemetary, 30535 Main Road, Cutchogue, New York 11935.
