Tampa Courthouse Pedestrian Accident Victim

On Friday, May 24, 2019,  I was walking to work at the George Edgecomb Courthouse in downtown Tampa where I work as a Court Clerk II. While crossing the street in front of the courthouse I was hit by a car. I had the light to cross the intersection, however the car that hit me ran the red light. My pelvis was broken in several places, my left arm was broken in 3 places, and I have additional fractures involving my spine. For the next 9 weeks, I cannot bear any weight on my legs which will be followed by several months of ongoing rehab. I will be bedridden and immobile requiring the assistance of family and Medical care workers. Through no fault of my own, I am now in a position of not being able to earn a living. I am a single person and the sole provider for my livelihood. I have many medical bills, personal expenses and I am also having to pay for services that my medical insurance does not cover. Therefore I am hoping to raise money to help with my expenses. Any assistance that you can give me will be greatly appreciated and will be used towards helping me to become active, mobile, and gainfully employed again.
