Recently, heartbreaking news has been broken to a wonderful person within our Tampa Bay Hockey Family. Dustin Fowden (#8) Dustin has been and is a long time Crown Hockey winger on Sundays and the Captain of the Rink Rats on Thursdays. He has played hard for many years and have no doubt will fight cancer with everything he has. There is no better team mate. #FowdenStrong
We, the teammates and friends of Dustin and his family, have established the Tampa Bay Hockey Fights Cancer fund to assist with the cost associated with his battle to beat Cancer.
We would also like to invite you to The first-ever Tampa Bay Hockey Fights Cancer, presented by Rob DiNic Interiors, will take place Saturday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m. at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum. Our good friend and captain, Dustin Fowden, was recently diagnosed with cancer. We come together to not only support Dustin, but all of our teammates around the world who have fought or are fighting this terrible disease.
Spots are available to play in the charity game for $30, which include ice time and a special jersey. Even if you are not playing, we encourage you to come out and support. Outside of cheering on the teams, we will also have t-shirts available for purchase, a 50/50 drawing, CLR games, a closest to pin putt, and cornhole, supported by various prizes.
Because of the INCREDIBLE support of the Tampa bay hockey community, this GoFundMe has been established so that any organization or individual who would like to help the family may do so with ease. All funds collected will go the Fowden family to help offset medical expenses and Moffit Cancer. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
