Important Update: Why This Campaign Is Now Focused on Saving a Child’s Life
My name is Abedalrhman, and I am writing this with a heavy heart from Gaza.
This campaign originally began to help my family survive the unimaginable horrors of war. Our home was destroyed, and we were forced to flee with nothing but the clothes we were wearing. Since then, we have been struggling daily to find safety, food, and clean water, simply trying to stay alive.
Today, I must share an urgent and heartbreaking update.
This campaign now has a critical new purpose.
A 3-month-old baby in my family is facing a life-threatening brain condition. Medical reports and imaging confirm serious neurological injury that requires immediate, specialized treatment outside Gaza—care that is not available here.
This is no longer only about displacement or survival.
This is about saving the life and future of an innocent child.
Without urgent medical intervention, this baby is at high risk of:
• Permanent brain damage
• Severe developmental delays
• Seizures and lifelong disability
• Or loss of life
Why the purpose of this campaign has changed
Due to the extreme urgency of this child’s condition, we have made the painful decision to prioritize his medical evacuation and life-saving treatment. All remaining support will be used for:
• Emergency medical transfer
• Specialized neurological care
• Hospitalization and essential follow-up treatment
To everyone who has supported or will support this campaign
Your kindness is now helping to protect a child who cannot speak for himself.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign could still help save his life.
⏳ Time is critical.
This baby cannot wait.
Thank you for standing with us in this moment of urgent need.
