On May 5th, 2021, Susan Guinee suddenly passed away in a tragic accident, leaving behind many, many loved ones, friends, students, and admirers.  

Susan was a single mom to Devin, a caring daughter for her live-in mother, a devoted twin sister, and a special education teacher.  Her loss leaves a hole in all of our lives, but especially for her immediate family.  

In this incredibly sad time, we need to come together as a community and make sure that Devin and his Grandma can focus on the grieving process and not have to worry about the immediate needs.  Rent and expenses need to be paid, food needs to be supplied, and funeral expenses need to be provided for. 

Devin and his family have made a massive impact in this community, and they need and deserve help now. Please consider donating whatever you can as soon as you can - the expenses are real and they're immediate.  But also keep the Guinee family in your thoughts and prayers beyond the next few days and weeks.  The support they need will be ongoing, and I can't think of a more worthy cause.
