The unfolding humanitarian crisis in Gaza has lead to widespread devastating injuries across the Gaza Strip.

Since 7 October, more than 1,000 children have had one or both legs amputated, according to UNICEF

More than 10 children per day, on average, have lost one or both of their legs in Gaza since conflict erupted three months ago, according to Save the Children.

A group of surgeons with experience in humanitarian work worldwide with organizations such as Peleks Humanitarian will embark on a journey to the Gaza strip on 19th February to help tackle the unsurmountable situation.

They will operate in the European Hospital Gaza and Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
