Surgery for my Little Boy

Today our little guy got hit by a car and has severely fractured his pelvis. Our other dog (mini dachshund <1yr) was chased by a much bigger dog, and she took off running down the road. She had many near misses from multiple cars but managed to get away unharmed. Unfortunately, my 2yr 9-month-old dachshund cross wasn't so lucky as he was hit when I was trying to stop a car, he ran out beside me straight into the rear tyre of a car.

He will need to undergo surgery to plate up his pelvis by a specialist vet. Unfortunately, costs can be high when it comes to these accidents, and I don't want to see our boy go at such a young age. Anything you can give will go a long way and will be much appreciated. Anyone who is an animal lover will understand how much their pet means to them!
