On October 1st, 2025, our dear friend and coworker, Robert Brace, was involved in a devastating workplace accident. The incident involved heavy equipment backing up and resulted in many severe life changing injuries.

We are incredibly grateful that Robert is still with us today. His strength and resilience have been nothing short of inspiring. However, the road ahead will be long and filled with challenges as he faces an extensive recovery and significant life changes.

This GoFundMe has been created alongside Robert’s sister, Kimberly Brace, to help ease the growing financial burden. Along with mounting medical expenses and the cost of future specialized care and equipment, there has also been a loss of income for those closest to Robert as they provide ongoing support. Most importantly, Robert is a devoted father to two amazing daughters back home in Newfoundland, who continue to need care and stability during this difficult time.

Robert is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, always willing to help others. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
