Supporting a Bark Shelter by Mishi Khan in Pakistan.

We are Aksa and Mary, and we define ourselves as animal lovers. We both have created this GoFundMe to help support the Bark by Mishi Khan Animal Individual shelter in Islamabad, Pakistan. The person who runs it is TV actress Mishi Khan. She has used all her personal savings and any other resources to ensure dogs do not end up on the streets and/or in a worse situation. Unfortunately, dogs are not seen as the beautiful creatures they are in many parts of the world, and this makes it very difficult for the dogs to ever be adopted in these countries. We traveled to Pakistan in 2024 and saved two puppies from the street that were not in a good situation by giving them to this Bark shelter. Because of the Bark shelter, those puppies are still alive today. The Mishi Khan has shared recent videos of the puppies, which are now very big, with us! We know that would not be the case if the Bark shelter did not exist.

The goal is to raise $1,000 USD to help the owner of The Bark Shelter Mishi Khan to procure more dog food, medicine, and other medical expenses like dewormers, rabies vaccinations, and vet checkups to continue saving these animals that otherwise will end up at the mercy of the streets, which only offers extreme suffering. We believe that with this money, the shelter can run for a year and maybe more depending on how many more dogs the shelter gets in 2025. The plan is to gather the funds and transfer them to the Bark shelter. We plan to cover the transfer and other fees from USD to rupees, so the full $1,000 USD reaches the private shelter.
