Dear loved ones,

I’m reaching out with a heavy yet hopeful heart to ask for your prayers and support for my beloved beautiful Zizi Carmela.

Zizi Carmela was first diagnosed in 2017 and has been battling stage 4 metastatic hormone receptor HER2-negative breast cancer, which has spread to her liver, lungs, and bones. Along with living with Crohn’s disease and an active fistula, making traditional chemotherapy especially dangerous for her fragile system.

The past two weeks have been especially hard - she’s been in and out of the hospital battling pneumonia, severe anemia, dehydration, and a bile duct blockage and fluid on the lungs. She’s received blood transfusions, IV fluids, hydration, potassium, oxygen and is now thankfully able to keep food down.

Despite it all, her spirit remains strong. She is still fighting - and she is trusting in the Lord, as we are too - believing God for healing, guidance, and provision. Her love for the Lord remains unshaken, and she continues to find encouragement through Him every step of the way.

We are currently exploring several treatment options - most notably a promising immunotherapy trial with ImmunityBio in Los Angeles, along with a few non-toxic, alternative programs that focus on immune support, nutrition, and holistic healing. Unfortunately, these options are not covered by insurance or partially covered by insurance, and at this point, all traditional medical avenues have been explored.

We are now moving forward with treatment that has the potential to be life-changing - with the goal of stabilizing her and building strength as we continue this journey.
