My name is Ziad M, I am not more than fourteen years old. I was supposed to be in school among my classmates but the war ruined everything - my memories, and my dreams.

I have fled with my family many times to stay alive. We are unstable and constantly leaving places and everything we know behind. We are suffering from widepsread malnutrition, hunger and diseases. I barely remember any good memories under these difficult circumstances.

I am a good goalkeeper and am trying my best to complete my studies even while being displaced. My dream is to become an engineer, and a famous goalkeeper. I am supposed to play football with my friends and go to school, but my ambition now is to secure food, drink and money to help my family survive. I miss the old days.

This is me before the war. I am a fan of Liverpool FC and Barcelona.

This is me now - uncertain about my future and trying to survive. I am now selling goods on the street so I can help my family survive.
