Support Yoda's Medical Care

The past 4 months have been devastating beyond belief. In July, my beloved French bulldog, Yoda, was hospitalized with pneumonia, resulting in several days of intensive care and a $10,000 bill. After his recovery, he underwent palate and nose surgery to prevent future respiratory issues, adding another $5,000 in medical expenses.

Despite these efforts, Yoda faced another battle—this time with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a degenerative spinal condition that left him unable to move. He required immediate emergency surgery, which cost $9,000. Just when we thought we were past the worst, he developed another severe respiratory infection. Yoda fought bravely in an oxygen chamber for over 12 hours, but his little body couldn’t handle any more. Against every instinct in my heart, I made the unbearable decision to let him go, ending his suffering. That final hospitalization added $3,000 to an already staggering financial strain.

In total, I’ve spent over $27,000 trying to save Yoda and give him the best possible chance. I poured every resource I had into his care, and though I don’t regret a moment of it, I am now left with immense grief and overwhelming financial stress.
