It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of our dear friend, Scott Rubin, on October 30, 2025.

Whether you knew Scott from way back in his school days as a dominant athlete, knew him more recently as a hard worker and loving father to Wyatt, or met him anywhere in between, you know that Scott was as loyal and genuine as they come. He loved his family and friends deeply and was always the first to offer a joke, a bit of advice, or simply a listening ear. Scott was the kind of person you always wanted in your corner — not only because of his strength, but because of his unwavering friendship and heart. When Scott said he’d be there for you, you knew he truly meant it and you never doubted it.

Scott leaves behind his beloved son, who was his world and the light of his life. As Wyatt and his mother, Lauren, navigate the difficult days ahead, we would like to make Wyatt’s education one less worry for the family. In lieu of flowers, we have created a GoFundMe to support Wyatt’s future. All funds raised will be deposited into a 529 plan for his education.
