Support Virginia Young's Fight and Roof Replacement

Hi everyone,

Over 11 months ago, Virginia was diagnosed with leukemia, and her world changed overnight. Since then, she has devoted all her energy to fighting this disease, enduring countless doctor appointments, chemotherapy, and blood transfusions (sometimes up to seven appointments each week). As you can imagine, the financial burden of ongoing treatment has been overwhelming.

Recently, things took another difficult turn: Virginia’s roof began leaking badly. After getting opinions from five different roofers, it’s clear the entire roof needs to be replaced as soon as possible to prevent further damage to her home. But with the high cost of her medical care, affording a new roof simply isn’t possible right now.

We’re hoping to raise enough funds to replace Virginia’s roof and help cover some of her basic living expenses while she continues her fight against cancer. Having a safe, dry home would mean one less worry for Virginia, allowing her to focus on what matters most: her health and recovery.
