With great sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Valerie Ekamasov.

Valerie was involved in a devastating car accident on I-95 in South Carolina while traveling with his sister-in-law, Rufina Tolmacheva, and her children to Virginia to attend the baptism of Rufina’s 18-year-old son, Elijah.

Tragically, Valerie, Rufina, and Rufina’s 15-year-old son, David, passed away at the scene.

Valerie leaves behind his beloved wife, Vira Bychkov, along with family and loved ones who are now facing an unimaginable loss.

During this time of grief, we ask first and foremost for your prayers. Please pray that the Lord would comfort Vira and the entire family, give them strength for the difficult days ahead, and surround them with His peace and grace.

This GoFundMe has been created to help Vira and the family with Valerie’s funeral and burial expenses, as well as other immediate financial needs resulting from this sudden tragedy.
