ART builds bridges.
UMO Ensemble’s Red Tiger Tales has been invited to be the first ever US representatives in the Daliangshan International Theatre Festival in Xichang City, China, this fall!
UMO Ensemble is teaming up with Vashon Repertory Theater’s Charlotte Tiencken to make this historic trip happen.
UMO Ensemble’s Red Tiger Tales;
UMO’s red nose clowns weave stories from around the world, tackle life's big questions with masks, puppets, music – and breathtaking physical skill.
Red Tiger Tales is a delight for the whole family; leaving young and old alike laughing loudly and thinking deeply.
Aptly dubbed “Red Tiger Loonie Tunes” by an enthusiastic audience member.
UMO stumbles as if by accident, on the part of us that’s closest to heaven.” –Village Voice.
The NEA has recently canceled all of its International funding grants, of which we were to receive $11,000!
To cover this shortfall, we have already raised $5000.
YOUR FUNDS will help us BRIDGE OUR $6000 GAP!
This trip will also secure valuable partnership opportunities for Chinese artists to join us in the United States.
Now more than ever, cultural exchange can open hearts and minds. Thank you for helping us build bridges of understanding with our global community.
