The President told America #GoFundYourself! So here we are.
Tax deductible
Hi, we're America. And we need your help.
The President & Co. just rammed their Big Beautiful Bill through the House, slashing $723 billion from Medicaid.
That's healthcare for 13.7 million Americans (1)—seniors, people with disabilities, kids, and working families.
Their message to us? — #GoFundYourself!
So here we are. Literally crowdfunding our own healthcare. Because in the richest country in the world, survival now depends on clicks, luck, and making your cancer diagnosis go viral.
(Now, $723 Billion dollars is a much larger number than you can put on a single GoFundMe page — trust us, we tried — so we’re starting with this first page for $7,230. And we’ll just have to do 100 million of them to make up the full amount that The President & Co. cut — that’s 190 of these GoFundMe pages every minute for an entire year, but, hey, that’s what friends & family have to do for one another when our own government tells us to #GoFundYourself!)
But wait—it gets worse.
The President & Co. didn’t commit this heist to balance the budget. They didn’t do it to save money. In fact, their Big Beautiful Bill will add $3.94 Trillion to the deficit. (2)
That’s right: They stole $723 Billion from sick Americans and still put $3.94 Trillion on the national credit card.
It's like they're stealing your child’s oxygen tank—then invoicing them for “unauthorized breathing.”
Where our Medicaid money will be redirected to:
- Tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires (3)
- Pharmaceutical CEOs who charge $300 for insulin that costs only $3 to make
- Deportation camps ($45 billion)
- CEOs whose compensation packages could literally fund entire hospital systems (the kind of people who own yachts with smaller yachts inside)
Winners & Losers:
- Your insulin: GONE
- Annual check-ups for your kid (and 7.5 million other kids) : GONE
- Your local emergency room (especially if you’re near one of the 190 mostly rural hospitals that depend on Medicaid funding to keep their doors open) (4) : GONE
- Billionaire tax cuts: FUNDED
- But these are all sacrifices they’re willing for us to make.
While we have to crowdfund mom’s chemotherapy, they're getting a tax break to buy a second yacht.
They’re trying to replace our healthcare with Donald's Death Panels.
So, until we build a system that treats healthcare as a human right — as does every other advanced nation with people who have bodies that sometimes get sick (and prefer not to die) — we're being forced to follow Trump's advice: #GoFundYourself!
Every dollar helps. Though now, thanks to the Big Beautiful Bill, we'll need about 723 billion more of them.
Let's work together to make healthcare a human right! — And until then, let’s help Americans struggling with medical debt:
We don’t expect to raise $723 billion. And we shouldn’t have to.
The government should be funding essential healthcare—not GoFundMe.
In the meantime, every dollar donated on this page will go directly to Undue Medical Debt—an organization that buys and cancels people’s medical debt for pennies on the dollar.
Because while this page is making a point, medical bankruptcy is real, people are rationing insulin, families are choosing between chemo and rent.
So donate if you can. Please share widely with the #GoFundYourself hashtag. And speak out as if your life depended on it—because thanks to Donald’s Death Panels, it literally does.
Thank you, America.
Love,
America
