Our dear friend Trish is preparing to walk through a difficult season.

Two years ago, Trish won the fight with breast cancer with strength and unwavering faith. Recently, after undergoing a full hysterectomy, she received another diagnosis — Stage 1C ovarian cancer.

The good news is that it was caught early, her PET scan is clear, and her doctors are hopeful. Even so, the next step is chemotherapy, which begins March 16th, to eliminate microscopic cancer cells discovered after surgery.

If you know Trish, you know that she is someone who brings encouragement and faith to others, even when she is facing her own challenges. She often talks about the “God winks” that remind her that the Lord is present in every season, even the hardest ones.

But this road is not easy.

Chemotherapy brings physical challenges, uncertainty, and significant medical expenses. Even with insurance, the cost-share for treatment and care is overwhelming.

With Trish’s permission, we are starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden so she and her husband Walter can focus on what matters most right now — her healing, strength, and peace during treatment.
