Nikki's mom is in critical condition at UCSF, where she has been for over 10 days. She had to have emergency surgery a few days ago and is in ICU on a ventilator. Her bowels were obstructed by a large mass and perforated. They are awaiting biopsy results. She will be in the hospital for "weeks" per Dr's.

Nikki and family has been staying in SFO. This past week alone, the housing was over $2,000 not to mention, food, parking $35 day, and misc. The stay in SFO may exceed $10k.

Nikki was hesitant but tearfully agreed to accept help to offset the financial burden for her family. This was completely unexpected and stressful. They are looking at being in SFO another month not to mention other expenses in setting up her mom's care upon returning.
