I am running the 2024 Falmouth Road Race to raise money for The Olivia Joan Foundation. This organization aims to fund research for and increase awareness of the ultra-rare genetic neurological disorder GNAO1. GNAO1 is often mistaken for cerebral palsy as it can present the same. It can cause development delays, seizures and movement disorders. There are only about 300 known cases of GNAO1 in the world.
