On behalf of the Melton Family, and with their permission, their extended family is reaching out with profoundly heavy hearts to ask for support during this extraordinarily difficult time. On November 16, 2025, Nora Melton passed away, leaving her family devastated. They now are working to give her the peaceful and dignified farewell she deserves.

Nora was a radiant and deeply artistic soul who loved—with her whole heart—her animals, nature, family and friends. She devoted her life to caring for animals, both those she personally nurtured and those she tirelessly advocated for, ensuring they found safe and loving homes. Nora found great joy in sharing her beloved animals with others through educational programs and children’s birthday events, where her compassion and enthusiasm touched countless lives. When she wasn’t caring for her animals, she was creating art, expressing the remarkable talent and creativity that made her truly exceptional.

As the Melton Family endures this unimaginable loss, we are humbly asking for support to help cover cremation and funeral/memorial expenses. Every contribution will go directly to Nora’s father, Steve, to help ease the financial burden during this time of profound grief as he plans the final arrangements for his beloved daughter.
